As part of the beautification of the Carlos Perez promenade, the Ministry of Heritage was tasked with putting the area of Camp Bay and Little Bay into historical context.
Seven panels were prepared in draft form:
La Cala del Laudero
The Devil’s Bowling Green
Convict Labour
The Camp Bay Quarries
POW Camp at Little Bay
Military Installations
The Dolphins Pool
Covid-19 lockdown put the project on hold for the next three years.

Ten new info point stands are commissioned – eight for Camp bay and two for Southport. The Ministry for the Environment produce their own panel – Our Southern Waters – to complement the historical ones.
