Operation Humpty Dumpty - putting the 9.2-inch gun pieces together again

Following the success of removing the several gun pieces from the Metalrok scrapyard to Brewery Crusher, the next phase of the operation involves re-assembling gun parts at the viewing platform where the whole will be eventually exhibited. This second phase of the operation is to be known as Operation Humpty Dumpty.

We arrive at Breakneck Battery and photograph all the relevant assembly parts to give us an idea of how the components are connected to each other. We are relieved to find out most of the important connecting pieces were recovered.

The Ministry was informed that a number of imperial type screws might still be stored at the old Waterport Power Station. A site meeting is quickly arranged to check the stores out.
Most of the imperial screws are much smaller than anticipated but can still be used. The much bigger iron rods can be converted into the larger screws. Permission is granted to take whatever is required.
